Our Portfolio.

  • The Winans Lifestyle

It’s truly a lifestyle. And this is what it’s like — sipping a sweet matcha latte, smelling some of the state’s best locally made chocolate, and all of it crafted with a smile on their face.

  • A Royal Wedding

Surrounded by friends, family and their loving church congregation, this newly-wedded couple shared their vows and tied their souls on Holy Ground. United in front of God, the couple expressed their raw love and were blessed in a royal way — by our Father in Heaven, the King of Kings. What a beautiful and wholesome wedding it was, and we were blessed to be a part of it.

  • A Vintage Wedding

This wedding caught the best of both weather-worlds, as we pulled out a classic umbrella for a few shots to start the day, stumbled across the fall of orange leaves in the woods a little later, and finally enjoyed a beautiful sunset + the warmth of a late autumn evening to close out the night. Ribbons were waved and lights were strung in celebration of this happy couple who commemorated their togetherness in the heart of a city they both serve + love — Piqua.

  • Extended Fam[ily]

It was all warm tones for this kindhearted extended family full of good-looking faces and cute outfits. With love that passes down through each generation, this group of relatives shared only smiles and laughter as we caught these moments.

  • His Car Calendar

Talk about MODELING. This hot momma knew exactly how to bless her husband for Christmas, and this special car calendar has proven to be it. With 12 photos [1 for each month] taken at 12 different locations — on their very own gorgeous property we might add — plus 2 classic sports cars and 1 radiant model, the perfect unique car calendar was created. It’s safe to say we’re pretty proud of these.

  • Vintage

    Vintage

Not that we’re playing favorites… But this model in particular has to be one of our most beloved. From exploring the night in the dead of January for her senior photos, to enduring the heat of mid-July in an abandoned building, this woman is always down to explore the creative side with us — whatever that entails. And, I mean, just look at the end result. So worth it.

  • Family of Plentiful

We hiked out to the prairie with this precious extended family one June morning and snapped these sweet moments. It was so much fun to capture the generational love from grandma and grandpa, mother and father, brother and sister, and everything in between! Oh to be that age again, running around with your cousins in a care-free prairie…

  • Let's Go To The Movies

Name a better date… We’ll wait. Photoshoots at the movies are hands-down some of our favorite shoots, and this bad@$$ couple made it especially fun. They danced, they laughed, and they struck poses on their anniversary. Only good moments were captured [and only good moments were had] on this special night.

  • Wedding Partayyy

    — And party they did. This family knows how to *celebrate*!! We know a happy couple when we see one, and these two high school sweethearts were just that. Many [joyful] tears were shed and the sun shown down on the hazy farm fields at The Buckeye Barn that evening, making it a picture-perfect wedding day.

  • Play Ball

60 degree weather. Small town ballpark. Competitive teammates. Just as each player was at the top of their game, we had to be on top of ours in order to capture every exhilarating play. There was never a dull moment in this game with loads of tag-outs, a thrilling out-of-the-park home run and just out-right fun that was had by everyone there.

  • Pitch Piqua Part Two

The first year was a hit, so we had to roll around and do it again… And — again — it did not disappoint. Balloons flew, ribbons were waived and fun was had by all. And, the best part is, a great Piqua initiative was funded — virtual reality equipment to serve as training for first responders of Edison State Community College. Here’s to creating a safer and more prepared city!

Sending love and prayers to the French family who played such an important role not only in Pitch Piqua, but in the Piqua community as a whole. May this town always remember he generosity that Dan French shared so freely.

  • Under the Engagement Umbrella

Why have your engagement photos taken in the brisk weather of mid-January? Well — just take a look. The beautifully engaged couple longed for a unique look, and that’s exactly what they got. Many [many] intimate moments all caught on camera for cherished images that will last them a lifetime. — And you can’t even tell that we were all freezing our [whatever’s] off.

  • SURPRISE — They're Engaged

Talk about romance — and the element of surprise! This was a first for us, as we hid in plain sight in one of the beautiful parks of Dayton, Ohio, waiting for this soon-to-be-groom to kneel down on one knee and ask one of the most important questions of his life. In case it wasn’t already obvious to you — although we’re pretty sure these photos to the explaining for themselves — she said yes. AND what an absolutely gorgeous ring.

  • Steamy Love

Name something more iconic than a steamy carwash photoshoot for your anniversary…We’ll wait. This shoot was So. Much. Fun. With a little creative exploration and loads of soap + water, this couple’s steamy love is all over these photos. We spun, we laughed, and we got soaked — but we’d say it was definitely worth it.

  • A Winans Holiday

We don’t know about you, but we rang in the holiday season with Winans chocolate — and coffee — but mostly chocolate. After many, many hours of preparation, shooting and editing, we are proud to represent this Piqua-born company. You can get some of that mouth-watering, smooth chocolate by taking a look at the 2022 Winans Holiday Gift Guide. Because it’s the holidays — and in the words of Winans themselves — a box of chocolates is always the perfect gift.

  • Destination [Home] Wedding

What. A. WEDDING. Nobody was happier for this mother + father who joined their families together while standing on the property in which their dream home was being built. There are no words, expressions, or yes, we will admit — even photos — that could capture the true, pure shed of emotions that day. It truly was a picture-perfect, tenderhearted, and PURE wedding for our very own photographer’s mother + new family.

  • Under the Stars — Wedding Edition

We didn’t think a wedding could be more perfect than this — not a cloud in the sky, a brand new state-of-the-art reception building, and custom family-made wine. The bride + groom’s love was so apparent, no picture could ever do justice… But we did our very best to capture just a spark of it. And have you ever seen a setting so beautiful?

  • A Buckeye Wedding

Special doesn’t even begin to describe this day. Not only did we get to capture such a beautiful wedding, we got to be a part of one of the most significant days in this cousin + childhood best friend’s life — and what a stunning bride she was. As for the groom — the goofiest, most tender-hearted and loving man — well, he became a father that day to the world’s real-life baby angel. We could go on and on about this oh-so-perfect day, but we’ll let the photos tell the rest of the story…

  • Prom with a Twist

This shoot was the most unique one yet. We combined the class of these fits, the spice of this couple’s look, and the abandoned, dirty room that’s been left vacant for nearly 20 years. The finished product is exactly what we hoped for and more.

  • 2022 Dancing with the Piqua Stars

Lights, camera, DANCING! The stars aligned, quite literally, on this Saturday evening in April for Piqua Arts Council’s celebrity event, Dancing with the Piqua Stars. We had an absolute blast capturing these moments of passion, excitement and fun. The true colors of Piqua shined so brightly through its citizens, and the dedication to supporting the arts in the Piqua community was unmistakably vibrant.

  • Prom Queen + her King

Though it was fairly cold on this partly cloudy day in the beginning of April, not one thing stopped this couple from shining. They brought nothing but heat, which made their photoshoot a “breeze”. With a glimpse of the sun for just a few seconds and an empty street at a red light, we caught the best moments of this Prom Queen and her King.

  • Inaugural Pitch Piqua

The first ever Pitch Piqua. 3 finalists, 1 goal, and more than $50,000 to win. The Piqua Community Foundation event kicked off in the first week of March, and did so like a bomb. The night brought a much bigger crowd than expected, an overabundance of cheers and excitement, and a night for the books that attendees will never forget.

  • Winans — Carriage House vs. Five-o-Five

After years of serving as dedicated customers of Winans Chocolates + Coffees, this opportunity seemed to simply fall into our laps this year. Don’t get us wrong… We’re still diehard Winans consumers, but now we’re blessed to be able to serve as their local product + lifestyle photographers. Here’s to expanding our portfolio even more!

  • Cold Night, Hot Model

Yes — we froze our everything off. No — we don’t regret it one bit. When a senior wants some last minute photos by an abandoned building in a nearby city, we’ll never say no… Especially when there are new “toys” (—camera equipment) to play with. We didn’t need the daylight, warmer weather, or a complete plan. We let the creativity in the air take control of this one.

  • Picture Perfect Family

    — a picture perfect family. They don’t get much prettier than this. The squad of 4 joined us at golden hour and we took a walk through a nearby park. There wasn’t much we needed to do as far as entertainment or jokes because they kept themselves laughing and smiling the whole time. We truly captured an abundance of beautiful moments in this family’s half session.

  • Senior in Autumn

There’s not much to describe here when you have a flawless model (—graduating senior of the hour), an ideal fall evening, and a smile that shines brighter than any added sun flare. — although, we might add that we did in fact get locked in the park afterwards… But that story’s for another day. (—we like say we were too invested in creating art to notice).

  • A Wedding at Sunset

A gorgeous sunset. Beautiful weather. A stunning newly-wed couple. What more could you ask for on one of the most significant days in a pair of humans’ lives? And it sure did make our job a lot easier. It’s safe to say that this one photo speaks for it all… But we advise you to view the whole gallery instead of simply taking our word for it — we want you to see it for yourselves.
